Route planning
By car
Bayreuth can be reached on the A9 from Munich to Berlin. Leave at exit No. 42 “Bayreuth Süd” and follow the sign “Universität”. Once you enter the site of the university, the parking place for the conference will be signposted.
By train and bus
At the train station “Bayreuth Hauptbahnhof” please take the bus 302, 303, 305, 309 or 328 direction “ZOH” (Central Bus Station). There change to the bus 304 direction “Birken” or 306 direction “Campus”. Leave the bus at the stop “Mensa”. For choosing your train to Bayreuth, you will find more information on www.bahn.de (also in English available).
By plane
We would recommend flying to Nuremberg, Munich or Frankfurt/Main. From there you can either rent a car or get here by train. We also plan to offer a shuttle service from Nuremberg Airport to Bayreuth on Sunday. The length of each journey to Bayreuth, you will find in the table below:

Shuttle Service from Airport Nuremberg to Bayreuth
The HT-CMC 7 organizer has arranged a shuttle service from Airport Nuremberg to Bayreuth for the conference participants. The buses will wait in front of the airport terminal and bring you to your hotel in Bayreuth. Bayreuth
Bayreuth is a modern city and on its way to becoming the high-tech center of the region. Located 250 km east of Frankfurt and 70 km north of Nuremberg, Bayreuth is known all over the world for the famous annual Richard Wagner Festival and its broad variety of small breweries.The conference will be held at the campus of the University of Bayreuth.
International connections are provided by many international airlines with daily flights from many European airports to Nuremberg. From Nuremberg there are hourly connections to Bayreuth
by train.
